World Mental Health Day.

The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year.

The theme of 2022’s World Mental Health Day, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority‘.

World Mental Health Day is also a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling.

This Monday we are also asking you to look after ‘Number 1’ when it comes to your mental health.

With everything that is happening around us right now, it can be easy to feel powerless, but there are aspects of our life we can manage and control.

We want you to embrace what is in your power to start doing, stop doing or change – something that will support your mental health.

So, this World Mental Health Day, ask yourself… what can you do to make mental health your Number 1 priority?

When thinking about how to look after Number 1 think about what aspects of your life that you can make a priority? What brings meaning and comfort in your life?

For anyone who would like to understand more about how they can look after their mental wellbeing, our Be Well at Work Employee Assistance Programme can offer support virtually via an app, online or by telephone. To learn more contact:
