Men’s Health Week 14- 20th June 2021.

This week the Men’s Health Forum are celebrating their annual Men’s Health Campaign and this year’s theme is Men, Mental Health and Covid 19.

Raising awareness of men’s health is incredibly important because:

Everybody’s mental health has been challenged by the lockdowns and insecurities of the last year and it’s not over. As we emerge from what we hope will be the worst of the pandemic, questions, concerns and anxieties remain around mental wellbeing and the impact on our physical health.

The Man’s Forum have developed their Man’s Manual and it is a great short read that shows men that with a little care, the high-performance machine that is the male body will run smoothly for a lifetime with just basic maintenance and minimal need for spare parts.

This easy-to-read handbook will show you how to fine tune your engine, choose the right fuel and keep your mind on the road ahead. There are also brand new interviews with men who’ve been on the journey and have a tale to tell.

It explains how the smallest of changes can make a biggest difference:

  • how to be good to your heart
  • how to get active
  • how to handle the ups and downs

The Man Manual also includes everyman’s personal TOOL-KIT: answers to all the frequently-asked questions that men have around their health and wellbeing.

You can access the Manual by following this link: https://issuu.com/menshealthforum/docs/man_2018_v8_issu
