Is your child leaving for uni?

September marks the start of Fresher’s week for many young people heading to universities across the UK. For some students this will be a really exciting time and a mark of new beginnings, however for some it is possibly a time of significant change and potential anxiety.

We’d like to remind you that the Be Well @ Work Employee Assistance Programme is in place not only to support employees but the package extends support to our partners and any children aged 16- 24 years.

If you are a parent of a child going to university who is homesick or feeling overwhelmed with their changing circumstances the programme offers a 24/ 7 telephone support service should they wish to speak to a trained counsellor.

The service can also provide access to structured counselling (telephone and zoom), CBT and ongoing support should it be required. All support given is confidential and free of charge.
