Financial Wellbeing & COVID-19

Advice on financial help and rights with specific relevance to the current pandemic is available from Money Saving Expert. This covers mortgages, rental help, bills, travel refunds, energy top-ups and more.

The Money and Pensions Service advise that people think about how Coronavirus could impact their financial wellbeing. They advise a stepped approach, starting with an emergency budget and checking with your bank, insurers and providers such as energy companies to see what support they can offer.

The more you can do now to plan ahead may save you time and energy - and importantly, money - when you might not be feeling at your best. The Money Advice Service provides some wisdom on this front and includes guidance on Coronavirus, your rights and entitlements as well as signposting to FREE debt advice.

The Citizens Advice Bureau is continuing to provide some really useful advice on many things Coronavirus related including advice around paying bills and rent.
